Believe it or not, I love winter at the beach almost as much as summer. Frozen fingers aside, beach walks are rewarded with loads of sea glass, sand dollars and, on a day like today or tomorrow, washed up lobster traps and buoys. Also, I don't have to get up as early to see the sunrise! And, of course, there are the storms. Safe and sound behind a dune, I love to ride them out while the wind is howling and the snow is flying past my window. When the wind settles down, I can still hear the hum of the ocean roiling and churning and, as I like to think it, polishing the sea glass:) Here are a few minutes of the view from the dune this morning. Enjoy!
